Curly, thin to thick hair

Whether you have curly hair, corkscrew curls or frizzy hair, the shape is genetically predetermined. Curly hair grows back curly - no matter what you may do about it.

Whether you have curly hair, corkscrew curls or frizzy hair, the shape is genetically predetermined. Curly hair grows back curly – no matter what you may do about it.

People with curly hair appear flexible, cheerful and full of life.

Since the hair usually makes a spiral twist, the cuticle is naturally more open and the inner hair structure is more or less exposed.

Dry and consequently brittle and fragile hair can be avoided with the following tips:

  • When washing your hair, make sure that it does not become to alkaline. The more alkaline a shampoo is, the more the cuticle opens up. Alternatively, you can use an acidic rinse with apple cider vinegar, lemon juice or similar.
  • Dry wet hair as gently as possible and comb the hair with an extremely wide toothed wooden comb or horn comb.
  • By brushing with a boar bristle brush, before shampooing, you give your hair the best care and protection from the surfactants.

  • Rosehip seed oil not only works extremely well on dry and mature skin, in my experience it is the most valuable oil for dry hair to protect it from becoming brittle and split. The combination of vitamins and fatty acids is very effective and does not require large amounts. Your hair will be moisturised, elastic and shiny.

We are often asked which comb is suitable to hold curls after washing the hair or conversely to get smoother without using straightening irons and the like.

Our recommendation for curly hair:

The wider the teeth, the more your curls will hold.

With the styling comb with extremely wide and extra wide teeth made of cherry wood, you have the choice every day with which teeth you want to comb your hair.

Our recommendation for you in a set (you save € 5.50):

The half-round boar bristle brush made of 100% pure and hard bristle is the best brush for curly hair because the individual bristles are widely spaced and you can easily get through the curls to the scalp.

Do you prefer a horn comb?

Yes, I am a buffalo horn fan and so are many of our customers, especially once they have experienced the quality.

The extremely wide toothed curling comb is ideal for wet and dry hair to detangle your curls as gently as possible.

The curlier your hair is, the more pointed the teeth should be. As most customers prefer rounded teeth tips, please feel free to let us know in the comments section of your order that you would prefer more pointed teeth tips.
